Good food in best of the location

Shababeek is a Lebanese restaurant set in the beautiful surroundings of the Al Qasba, Sharjah. The decor…. the quality of food & service, everything is just perfect……It’s really an excellent place in Sharjah where you can take ypir family as well as friends. Food is top quality & servings are generous. The indoor seating area has a traditional decor & also offers views of the walkway of Qasba… as does the outdoor seating space.

This restaurant serves a variety of Lebanese preparations. Though a little pricey compared to the other eating options at Qasba but you get delicious food, big helpings and unlimited Arabic bread…. so it’s worth it.

Coming to the food … we went there for the brunch … we started with The cold & hot mezze which includes
the Hummus Trio- Traditional, Pesto & Spicy.
Baba Ghanoush
Tabouleh
Cheese stuffed Kibbeh
Frikeh Salad &
Fattoush Balade ….
everything was delicious … I must say up to the mark.

In the main course, we had
Shish Taook
Kebab Chicken &
Grilled Halloumi
My personal fav. of all was the shish taook

We also have their Shababeek signature iced tea…. looks wise it was gorgeous .. but taste wise it was just ok.
Rose Raspberry Spritzer…. I just loved this one… very refreshing drink.

& how can we end without desserts( indeed the most important part of any meal) we had Mafroukeh Pistachio- it was quite different in taste .. I like it.

We went there again in Ramadan for iftar in a bloggers event. Got to taste all the yummy Arabic food again… there was a set menu for Iftar which includes soups, dates & dry fruits platter, 2 cold & 2 hot mezze, 2 salads, mix Maujanat platter, & main includes Lamb biryani, oriental braised lamb shank, Farekh pilaf & kibbeh with laban platter. In dessert there were Em Ali & also chocolate & date cake.
They were also serving the Ramadan special Arabic drinks- Jallab, Amareddin & orange juice.
This menu was quite enough for two people.

All together this place is worth going for again & we would recommend this to all.
