La Tablita

We were invited for the food review to La Tablita for dinner & initially it wasn’t  too crowded, but as the time passes it became crowded. This shows that people in Dubai really are fond of Mexican food. It has a Lively and colorful ambiance. They play Latin songs and we were relaxed and in the mood for a good time.

We were greeted by Mariana… with a sweet smile, & then by Florencia, who helped us in choosing our menu…. very friendly & helpful. 

 

Main food highlights in this restaurant are the tacos, molcajete (main course) and tres leches (dessert). We were served several dishes from

The menu …. some of them were …. 

1- Tiradito de aguacate – a starter with a mix of avocado, cucumber, olive oil caviar. 

2- Nachos with three different dips 

3- Tacos- six assorted tacos

4- guacamole- traditional

5- Enchiladas verdes- Chicken, green tomato sauce with melted cheese

6- Molcajete- Beef tenderloin, king prawns, chorizo, cactus with morita chili salsa 

7- Cordero- Lamb chops

8- Pollo- grilled half chicken with steamed vegetables.

We For the drinks, they had a variety mocktails, which were very refreshing. I don’t remember the name though. 😐

Staff are mostly from Mexico and we got to chat with them.  Food was served quickly.
